A description of your organization; A description of the activities you areproposing for grant funding and the anticipated effect or outcome; The time and duration of your proposed activities; The total amount of funding requested.The letter should be on letterhead, and include your organization’s legal name, mailing address, city, state, zip code, phone and fax numbers, e-mail and website address, if available. A copy of the IRS 501(c)(3) ruling for your organization must accompany your letter. If it is determined from the Letter of Inquiry that the project meets the Foundation’s priorities and interests, you will be provided with a Formal Application form. Applications are accepted and grants are awarded on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Typically it takes one to four months from the receipt of an application for the Board to make an award decision. Applicants will be notified of the Foundation’s decision in writing. Please note that the grants process is competitive. While many requests are worthy and meet the guidelines, not all requests can be funded. Award recipients will be required to provide the Foundation with a Summary Report and evidence that grant funds were used for the requested purpose. |
